Mothersugar is a classic triple-distilled London Dry Gin made with juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, liquorice, orris root, orange and lemon peel. We've infused this with a blush of grapefruit, a hint of mint, and sweetened it with cane sugar, to create the perfect holiday tipple.

Limited to only 60 bottles, and strictly reserved for our favourite people, we hope you enjoy drinking this as much as we've enjoyed making it.

The classic

  • 88ml Mothersugar gin

Enjoy it as mother intended... A double shot of Mothersugar gin, on the rocks. Also pairs well with Bonnie Tyler.

The navy-strength Negroni

  • 60ml Mothersugar gin
  • 60ml Campari
  • 60ml Extra dry vermouth
  • 30ml fresh lemon juice
  • Orange zest

In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, Campari, vermouth, lemon juice. Shake violently, then add ice and shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a tumbler. Twist the peeled orange zest over the top to express its oils. Serve immediately and drink slowly.

Boozy bubbles

  • 60ml Mothersugar gin
  • 2tsp sugar
  • 30ml fresh lemon juice
  • Brut Champagne

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the gin, lemon juice and sugar. Shake until chilled. Strain into a champagne flute and top off with Champagne. Stir gently and garnish with mint.

Rosy but rowdy

  • 60ml Mothersugar gin
  • 30ml Campari
  • 15ml fresh lemon juice
  • 150ml kombucha
  • Half a teaspoon of finely grated ginger

Combine the gin, Campari, lemon juice, and ginger. Stir in the kombucha. Strain the cocktail through a fine-mesh sieve into an ice-filled tumbler. Garnish with cinnamon and a hefty chunk of grapefruit.

Cute and cuddly, but will cut you

  • 1 cucumber
  • 40ml Mothersugar gin
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • 120ml Prosecco
  • Club soda

Using a vegetable peeler, shave 6 long, thin ribbons of cucumber. Set these aside. Cut 15cm off the remaining cucumber and dice this into small pieces. Muddle it in a cocktail shaker, then add the gin and simple syrup, and fill with ice. Cover and shake vigorously until frosty. Strain the mixture into two ice-filled wine glasses. Top them off with Prosecco and a splash of club soda. Stir gently. Garnish with cucumber ribbons.

Brunch in a glass

  • 30ml Mothersugar gin
  • Dash of fresh lemon
  • 8 raspberries
  • Lemon juice
  • Prosecco

Muddle half the raspberries in a cocktail shaker. Add the gin and lemon juice, and shake. Strain the cocktail into a chilled champagne flute and top this off with Prosecco. Garnish with the remaining raspberries.

Casual nihilism

  • 88ml Mothersugar gin
  • 30ml vodka
  • 15ml Lillet blanc
  • 3 blueberries
  • Rosemary

Combine all the ingredients, stirring well for about 20 seconds. Strain the cocktail into chilled glass and garnish with blueberries and rosemary.
